Spreading as much as aware about COVID-19 has been the motto of our influential figures from the entertainment world. Taking safety measures to remain unaffected with this dreadful virus, all the social networking platforms are buzzing with several remedies which are quick and handy. One of them is thoroughly washing hands for a minimum of 20 seconds. Hence the #safehandschallenge has picked up on the social networking sites that was started by the World Health Organisation(WHO). Joining the league is actress Shefali Jariwala, who has also urged people to stay safe.

Sharing a black and white video of her washing her hands while she grooves on music played in the background. Thus, making this safe hands challenge more fun and not boring and preachy.  She captioned this video of her as, “Life is in your hands, wash them properly !!! #safehandschallenge. #prevention #who #worldhealthorganization #covid_19 #corona #staysafe #washyourhands” Unlike other celebs, who tagged the rest of them to take on the challenge, Shefali did not tag anyone in her post.

We also zip and zapped through her Twitter account, where the actress is busy re-sharing diet plans to remain immune during this pandemic.

On the personal front, the actress along with her husband Parag Tyagi is in the process of adopting a baby girl soon.  

She was quoted saying, “From the moment I have understood the meaning of adoption which was when I was, 10 or 11, I always wanted to adopt a child. It is difficult, especially when you can have your own children. The pressure from the society, from friends and family but Parag and I spoke about it and we want to adopt a girl child. The process is ongoing and pretty tedious. There is a lot of paperwork involved but we are hopeful it will be done soon.”
